Nominations sought for shareholder, Elder shareholder of the year, AFN awards

CIRI is seeking nominations for its 2012 CIRI Shareholder of the Year Award and the 2012 CIRI Elder Shareholder of the Year Award. Nominations must be submitted to CIRI by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13.

The CIRI Shareholder of the Year and the CIRI Elder Shareholder of the Year awards recognize shareholders for their exemplary dedication to Alaska Native culture, heritage and communities.

The awards will be presented at the CIRI Friendship Potlatch in Anchorage in October. Nominations are also being accepted for Alaska Federation of Natives President's Awards. For award criteria and applications visit www.ciri.com/content/shareholders/awards.aspx.
