Michael R. Boling is an attorney and owner of the Law Office of Michael R. Boling in Dallas, Texas. Boling was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. In 1974, he moved out of state to attend the University of Oregon. He earned his Juris Doctor from the California Western School of Law in 1981.

Boling has been a member of the CIRI Board since 1998 and currently serves as treasurer. His three-year term on the Board expires in 2013. He serves as chair of the board of commissioners of Cook Inlet Housing Authority and as director of Cook Inlet Housing Development Corp., Cook Inlet Lending Center Inc., Cook Inlet Real Estate Services Inc. and Ne'vut Development Corp.
