Douglas W. Fifer

Douglas W. Fifer is a police officer with the Anchorage Police Department. He is also a union representative of the Anchorage Police Department Employee Association.

Fifer earned a Bachelor of Science, Occupation Education degree from Wayland Baptist University in 2004. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Management, with an emphasis on Human Resources Management, at Wayland Baptist University.

Fifer was elected to the Board of Directors in 2006. His three-year term on the Board ends in 2009. He serves on Cook Inlet Tribal Council's Board, and is the chair of their Finance and Investment Committee. Fifer is a volunteer youth mentor with Cook Inlet Tribal Council, and a volunteer child counselor with Volunteers of America.
