Jeffrey A. Gonnason

Haida

Jeffrey A. Gonnason, O.D. owns Medical Park Eye Care in Anchorage. A doctor of optometry, Gonnason has treated patients in both the villages and Anchorage for 30 years.

Gonnason earned a Bachelor of Science in 1975 and a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1976, both from Pacific University. Gonnason was a founding director of The CIRI Foundation in 1982, and currently serves as chair of that board.

Gonnason is the Legislative Keyperson and former Legislative Chair of the Alaska Optometric Association. He is currently a member of the Alaska State Board of Examiners in Optometry. Gonnason was elected to the CIRI Board of Directors in 2006. His current three-year term on the Board finishes in 2012.
