Thomas P. Huhndorf grew up in the Kenai area. He has worked as a commercial fisherman in Cook Inlet and a construction electrician, eventually obtaining his master's electrical license. Currently he works for Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. as a maintenance supervisor.
Huhndorf serves as a director of Cook Inlet Tribal Council and Salamatof Native Association. He also serves as secretary on the board of directors of Teya Technologies Inc.
Huhndorf was elected to the CIRI Board of Directors in 2004. His current three-year term on the Board ends in 2013.
