THOMAS P. HUHNDORF

Thomas P. Huhndorf is a Yupik Eskimo who grew up in the Kenai area. He has worked as a commercial fisherman in Cook Inlet. He has also worked as a construction electrician, eventually obtaining his master's electrical license. Currently he works for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company in their Information Technology department.
Huhndorf has served on the Board of Directors of Salamatof Native Association, an ANCSA village corporation, for 15 years, and currently serves as chairman. He also served on the Alaska Federation of Natives Board of Directors and Cook Inlet Tribal Council.
Huhndorf was elected to the CIRI Board of Directors in 2004. He currently serves as secretary. His current three-year term on the Board ends in 2010.
