CIRI celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Cook Inlet Land Exchange.

CIRI announces the development of a high-end retail and entertainment center on its land in northeast Anchorage.

Margie Brown, a Yup'ik Eskimo originally from Takotna, Alaska, becomes President and CEO of CIRI.

CIRI, in a joint venture with T-Mobile USA, acquired 36 personal communications systems (PCS) licenses in an FCC auction, and plans to offer service in 35 markets throughout the U.S.

CIRI holds its 20th annual CIRI Golf Classic tournament, which raises money to benefit youth and education.

CIRI and its partners begin construction on a new destination golf resort near Austin, Texas. The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa is scheduled to open in spring 2006.

CIRI signs Alaska natural gas pipeline agreement with MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company.

CIRI President & CEO Carl H. Marrs celebrates 30 years with the corporation.

CIRI board declares third special distribution: $50 per share or $5,000 per average shareholder.

After CIRI shareholders vote yes, an irrevocable elders' settlement trust is created.

CIRI's Casino MonteLago, located at Lake Las Vegas Resort, opens for business.

The Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas Resort opens for business, a second investment with Transcontinental Properties and the interests of Sid and Lee Bass.

CIRI receives final casino licensing from the Nevada Gaming Commission and is the first Alaska Native regional corporation licensed to conduct gaming in Nevada.

The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa opens.

Carl Marrs awarded a Doctor of Public Service, honoris causa, degree from Alaska Pacific University in recognition of his many contributions to Alaska and its people.

CIRI expands Alaska tourism offerings to include Seward Windsong Lodge and Prince William Sound Cruises & Tours.

CIRI expands partnership with VoiceStream Wireless Corp. and becomes one of the nation's most significant designated entity providers of PCS service.

The Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, built on a 35-acre site overlooking the Talkeetna River valley, opens its doors and offers visitors a magnificent view of Mt. McKinley the "Great One.".

CIRI invests in Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort and begins partnerships with Woodbine Development Corp., Transcontinental Properties, and the interests of Sid and Lee Bass of Fort Worth, Texas .

CIRI begins expansion into Alaska tourism acquiring Kenai Fjords Tours.

CIRI acquires interest in Alaska Interstate Construction, a civil construction company active in the oil, gas, and mining industries, with Nabors Industries.

CIRI repositions from radio and television broadcasting into the wireless telephone industry with two leading national partners, including VoiceStream Wireless Corp.

CIRI increases apartment and industrial warehouse investments.

CIRI acquires its first television station, WTNH in New Haven, Connecticut; with subsequent television and radio acquisitions, the company becomes one of the country's largest minority-owned broadcasters.

CIRI begins hosting annual potlatches to celebrate the Native heritage of its shareholders.

Cook Inlet Tribal Council is formed by CIRI as its non-profit social service and job training entity.

Southcentral Foundation is incorporated as the non-profit health organization operating under CIRI's legislated authority.

The CIRI Foundation is established to provide educational scholarships and grants for shareholders.

CIRI enters into joint venture with Nabors Industries to form Peak Oilfield Service Co.

Land conveyances on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula provide revenue potential from oil & gas leasing.
