CIRI Shareholder/ Elder Shareholder of the Year
CIRI is seeking nominations for its 2011 Shareholder/ Elder Shareholder of the Year Award. The awards recognize shareholders who have shown dedication to Alaska Native culture, heritage and communities. The awards will be presented at a CIRI Friendship Potlatch this fall. Only CIRI shareholders and descendants can submit nominations.
Deadline: 5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15

CIRI is seeking nominations for its recommendations for the 2011 Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) President's Awards. These awards are comprised of 12 categories ranging from health to law enforcement to youth leadership.
