“Stars on the Lake”

In July, Lake Las Vegas Resort presented music entertainer LeAnn Rimes in the inaugural “Stars on the Lake” celebration performance at Nevada’s most unique outdoor entertainment venue, a floating 52-foot by 76-foot stage. Lake Las Vegas is the site of three CIRI investments: The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas Resort; the Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort; and the Casino MonteLago.

Rimes was enthusiastic about the setting, “Lake Las Vegas Resort is a classy place and everyone at the resort has taken very good care of me. I will definitely come back . . . it’s on my list of favorite things that I’ve done.”

The event garnered praise from Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Doug Elfman, who said, “It seemed as if Rimes’ words were actually going to bounce off the moon . . . .”

On Oct. 15, Lake Las Vegas will present “Stars on the Lake” with the Grammy award-winning Beach Boys. Tickets for the end of summer concert are $49.95 and available on www.ticketmaster.com.
