CIRI Seeks Special Projects Accountant

CIRI is seeking applicants for a special projects accountant in the finance and accounting department. This position is responsible for documentation and testing of internal controls as they relate to the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) framework to help meet the requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act as adopted by the CIRI Board of Directors. This position also supports the overall accounting and reporting requirements. An undergraduate degree in accounting and three years accounting experience; or two years college education (prefer Intermediate Accounting completed) and six years progressively more responsible accounting experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities is desired. CIRI Seeks Executive Assistant in the Finance and Accounting Department

CIRI is seeking applicants for an executive assistant in the finance and accounting department. This position provides high level administrative services and project management support for the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controller, Vice President of Finance and the accounting department. This position also assists with preparing for the Board of Directors Finance & Investment and Audit Committee meetings. Two years of business college and five years experience as an executive assistant or progressively more responsible position, or any combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities is desired. By request, information and referral may be provided to Alaska Natives living in other states and countries. The advocate also acts as a liaison on behalf of the client to provide community outreach to health, social, educational and other programs and services to meet the client’s needs.
