the birth of Cha'miya Renita Hines. Baby Cha'miya weighed 7 pounds,

4:26 p.m. at Providence Hospital in Anchorage. His proud mother

CIRI shareholder Cherise A. Mullins and fiancée B. Ivan Edenshaw
welcomed their first son, Eli Spencer Edenshaw, on May 6 at the
Alaska Native Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 5.6 ounces, and
measured 20 1/2 inches long. Eli Spencer is Inupiaq Eskimo, Tlingit
and Haida. His proud grandparents are CIRI shareholder Alma Mullins,
of Shishmaref, Alaska, and Kit C. Mullins, and Veronica and Roy
Redifer. Baby Eli's great-grandmother is "The Great One"
Jean Shepard of Klawock, Alaska. To honor his ancestors, he is named
after his great-grandfather Eli Mullins and great-great-uncle Spencer
"Spinner" Williams of Klawock. Eli joins his brother,
Myles Baumgartner, 11, and sister, Naomi Edenshaw, 8. |

Mike and Chaney Alexander, of Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., proudly
announce the birth of their son, Jared Zian Alexander. Baby Jared

Jaylon Fisher "Kiyalighaq" Katchatag was born June 29
at 10:30 a.m. at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage.
Baby Jaylon is the pride and joy of CIRI shareholder Dennis Ryan
Katchatag and Rene Mokiyuk of Nome, Alaska. Jaylon's paternal grandparents
are Dan Mitchell of Las Vegas, Nev., and the late Helga Katchatag
of Anchorage. Clarence and Mary Katchatag, of Shaktoolik, Alaska,
are Jaylon's paternal great-grandparents. Baby Jaylon's maternal
grandparents are Ernestine "Maaqa" Mokiyuk and Scott Zimmerman
of Preston, Wash., and Dave and Candy Brower of Juneau, Alaska.
Agatna Mokiyuk and the late Jackson Mokiyuk Sr. of Savoonga, Alaska,
are Jaylon's maternal great-grandparents. |

Center in Arkansas. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches

and John Stucker Jr., were married on July 10, 2004, in Austin,
Ark. Baby Joseph's grandparents are CIRI shareholder Nancy Leavitt

their new daughter, Kaitlyn Lanay. Baby Kaitlyn was born Feb. 17
in Sacramento, Calif. She weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20
inches long. Kaitlyn's maternal grandparents are Fredrick and Ruth
Tiedeman of Washington and Cordova, Alaska. Tabis and Galena Kelbatyrov

Ethan "JD" Larsen is her big brother and her grandparents
are late CIRI shareholder Viola Dimmick, CIRI shareholder Lucille
Mosquito and Ronald Whisenant, and CIRI shareholder Helena Dimmick-Mark
and Sigfried Larsen Sr. |

Sr. welcomed a baby boy named Rocky Mountain Standifer on May 30

He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Rocky
is the grandson of CIRI shareholder Frank Standifer III. |

Native Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces and measured

Craig Robertson and CIRI shareholder Shelley Robertson congratulate
their daughter Cavalier for graduating from the sixth grade at Thompson
Elementary in Highland, Calif. She graduated as the valedictorian
and as student of the year. Cavalier has dreams of being a super
model, actress and producer. She is also interested in being a veterinarian.
According to her family, Cavalier is a smart, strong and beautiful
young lady who will succeed at whatever she chooses to do. Congrats
Cavalier! |

CIRI shareholder Ron Drake and his wife Sandra happily share their
sons', Aaron and Willie Drake, annual potlatch presentation. The
Drakes held the potlatch in St. Mary's, Alaska, on Feb. 25. Traditional
garments were handmade and Yup'ik namesakes given. Aaron and Willie
are grandsons of CIRI shareholder Gladys Adkison of Anchorage. |

Bennie Smith and CIRI shareholder Thelma Smith joyfully celebrated
their third wedding anniversary on May 3. They are thankful for
the blessed years they have enjoyed together. |

| Congratulations to the Sharps
Terry Mark Sharp, son of Fred and CIRI shareholder Mae Annette Sharp,
married Cynthia Clair Kalmenson on July 14 in Tarzana, Cal. Terry
is a refrigeration engineer working for the Alaska seafood industry.
Cindy, a former teacher, is a singer and songwriter in Nashville,
Tenn. and hosts the Girls with Guitars group. Terry's daughter,
Sasha Rose Sharp, graduated from college in Portland, Ore. with
the assistance of The CIRI Foundation and Seldovia Native Association.
She is now working as an accountant in Portland. |

| Mrs. Alaska America Pageant
CIRI shareholder Sherenna Hansen participated in the 2005 Mrs. Alaska
America Pageant, which was held at the Egan Center on July 9. The
pageant strives to emphasize that America's 60 million married women
are beautiful, poised, articulate and versatile. Hansen met many
wonderful new friends. She considers the pageant the experience
of a lifetime. Her husband is Elijah Hansen. |
