| The annual CIRI potlatches are being scheduled
for this fall in Anchorage, on the Kenai Peninsula, and in the Pacific
Northwest. The Northwest Potlatch is scheduled for Saturday, Sept.
13 at Chief Leschi School in Puyallup, Wash. The Kenai Peninsula
Potlatch is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1 at Kenai Central High
School. Planning is also underway for the Anchorage Friendship Potlatch,
which is expected to be held Saturday, October 11. Check the CIRI web
site and the September CIRI Shareholder Update for additional information.
In preparation for the Anchorage Friendship Potlatch, CIRI is seeking
Alaska Native artists who are interested in selling their arts and
crafts at the annual potlatch. A limited number of tables are available
at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a table,
