Blatchfords Enjoy Log Home Business

CIRI shareholder Joel Blatchford has owned the log home company Yukon Alaska Log Homes/Blatchford Kits since November 2001. The Soldotna business originates from the Yukon Alaska Log Homes business which began in 1984 in Whitehorse, Canada. Joel and his wife DJ have always had an interest in log homes and decided to buy into the business. According to Blatchford, the logs are non-beetle-kill white spruce wood from Canada, but he hopes to expand into using Southeast Alaska logs.

Logs Roll by DJ Blatchford

Logs roll to the left.
Some to the right,
Some to a cleft.
Ones in back stay bright.
The front ones take the lead,
Logs roll is my plea,
Signature of art on the land, good deed.
Add a fireplace of stone, for all to see.
Center logs hold their own,
North end craves heat,
South windows of large have their own tone.
East a balcony for sunrises can’t be beat.
Unless the closer of the day is west,
From Yukon Alaska Log Homes?
We are nothing but the best.
Placed anywhere, here to many Nomes.
Many people will rave, You own this?
This art is: Logs Roll, to be amiss.
Logs Roll.
