| CIRI Resort Investments Continue to Earn
Favorable Reviews
CIRI’s resort investments at Lake Las Vegas Resort continue
to earn rave reviews from the public and prestigious acknowledgements.
The most recent commendation is for The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas
restaurant Medici Café & Terrace. The acclaimed main
restaurant has been heralded by food critic John Mariani as one
of America’s 20 “Best New Restaurants 2003.” Mariani’s
influential 20-best list is published each year in the November
issue of Esquire magazine and is celebrated by a special chef’s
dinner. This year’s dinner was attended in New York by Medici
Café & Terrace’s award-winning Executive Chef Stephen
Marshall.
Among comments in the Esquire review of Medici are “the city’s
best food” and the new Ritz-Carlton brings Las Vegas its first
taste of “genuine sophistication.”
The restaurant’s most popular dinner choice is “La Spontaneita,”
a chef’s tasting menu that may be completely customized to
suit each table’s unique dining preferences and an optional
wine pairing with each course. Spectacular desserts are offered
by Pastry Chef Patrice Caillot, whose Team Caillot won the National
Pastry Team Championship in July 2003. Caillot will represent the
U.S. and Medici Café & Terrace at the 2004 World Pastry
Team Championship. |
