Christopher C. Gesulga III died Nov. 17, 2004, at home in Lathrop, Calif. Mr. Gesulga was born Nov. 21, 1952, in Anchorage, Alaska. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; step-daughters, Crystal and Jessica; father, Chris; and sisters, Candice and Terry.
Sharon Kaye Jensen, 61
Sharon Kaye Jensen died Nov. 29, 2004, in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Ms. Jensen was born March 3, 1943, in Anchorage, Alaska. She is survived by her son, Ron Jensen; special love, Dave Smith; sister-in-law, Betty Ann Kirschner; nephew, Andy Kirsch; and many other nieces, nephews and special friends. According to her family, she was very proud of her Alaska Native heritage, growing up in Anchorage and Wasilla. She loved birds and appreciated their presence on her many walks.

Deborah “Cassie” Kernan, 45
Deborah “Cassie”Kernan, 45, died Dec. 22, 2004, at her home. She was born July 4, 1959, in Nome, Alaska. Cassie graduated from Service High in 1977. She attended both Johnson & Wales University and Loyola Marymount University. Mrs. Kernan lived in Nome, Fairbanks, Kenai and Nikiski. She married John P. Kernan in a hot air balloon over Anchorage on June 22, 1985. She is survived by her husband, John; sons Zeth and Jordan Kernan; stepdaugther Melissa Kernan; mother and CIRI shareholder Gertrude Ah’ Nee; brothers and CIRI shareholders William J. Miller, Robert E. Miller and Norman D. Miller Jr.; sisters and CIRI shareholders Antoinette Miller and Leesa Van Zandt; nieces Paula Bourdon, Michelle Nicholas, Amanda Kashtook and Amberly Miller; and nephew Devin Van Zandt. She was a member of the Alaska Native Lutheran Church and the Church of God of Soldotna. Cassie enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts and collecting teapots. Her family shares that she was known for her beautiful smile, always affectionate nature, warm hugs and quick wit – she will be missed greatly by all those who had the opportunity to know her.

Donald W. McFarlin Jr., 50
Donald W. McFarlin Jr. died Nov. 27, 2004, at home in Palmer, Alaska. Mr. McFarlin was born March 30, 1954, in Anchorage, Alaska. He is survived by his son, Troy A. McFarlin; parents, Don and Hazel McFarlin; sisters, Clovis Leiser and Roxanne Smyers; and brothers, John McFarlin and Paul McFarlin.

Anna Dorothy Robertson, 66
Anna Dorothy Robertson died Dec. 10, 2004, at Meadowbrook Place in Baker City, Ore. Ms. Robertson was born Dec. 15, 1937, in Russian Mission, Alaska. She is survived by her daughter, Stella Davis; son, Alan Cisco; and granddaughter, Christina Plunkett. “Annie” worked as a nurse’s aide in several hospitals and she also waitressed. She enjoyed telling stories of her childhood and tales of the ‘64 earthquake.

Davie Curtis Tucker, 46
Davie Curtis Tucker died Nov. 19, 2004, at the Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. Mr. Tucker was born June 11, 1958. He is survived by Ruby Stanfill and many other friends.
