Foundation’s scholarship and grant deadlines for 2005. The
CIRI Foundation must receive all applications with accompanying
materials before the deadline to receive priority consideration.

Education Grants:
The CIRI Foundation Vocational Training Grants, Career Upgrade Grants,
General Fellowships, Cultural Fellowships and Internships; Vocational
Grant programs of Kenai Natives Association and Tyonek Native Corp.
March 31
Howard Rock Foundation Scholarship Program (subject to available
funding):
Created by Alaska Village Initiatives, Inc. in 1986, these annual
scholarships are available to Alaska Native undergraduate and graduate
students who are original enrollees of an ANCSA regional and/or
village corporation, or their lineal descendants or a member of
a tribal or other organization. The organizations that applicants
are affiliated with must be current members of Alaska Village Initiatives.
June 1
Annual Scholarships:
The CIRI Foundation Special Excellence, Excellence and Achievement
Scholarships, Cap Lathrop Scholarship and George Miller Management
Fellowship; and Salamatof Native Association Scholarships/Grants.
Semester Scholarships:
The CIRI Foundation General Semester Scholarships, Kenai Natives
Association Scholarships, Ninilchik Native Association Scholarships/Grants
and Tyonek Native Corp. Scholarships.
December 1
Annual Scholarships:
George Miller Management Fellowship.
Semester Scholarships:
The CIRI Foundation General Semester Scholarships; Kenai Natives
