CIRI Board Elects New Board Officers
William C. Prosser Named Chairman

At a special Board meeting held on Monday, June 14, the CIRI Board of Directors elected the following Board officers: William C. Prosser, chairman; Charles G. Anderson, vice-chairman; Robert W. Rude, secretary; Clare Swan, assistant secretary; Michael R. Boling, treasurer; and Gosta Dagg, assistant treasurer. The Board also conferred the title chairman emeritus on Roy M. Huhndorf.

At the CIRI Annual Meeting, held Saturday, June 5, in Puyallup, Wash., shareholders re-elected Anderson, Boling, and Dr. Terry L. Simpson to the CIRI Board of Directors for three-year terms expiring in 2007, and elected new Board members Thomas P. Huhndorf and Robert Singyke. Other directors who continue to serve their remaining terms are B. Agnes Brown, Margie Brown, William D. English, Patrick M. Marrs, and Harold F. Rudolph.

Dr. Simpson, who had served as chairman since 2001, nominated Prosser and the new slate of officers at the special meeting. “As a Board, we are trying to move the corporation in a positive direction,” said Simpson.

Prosser, who served as chairman of the Board from 1999 to 2000, said, “These decisions create the balance we need to reconcile the division on the Board so that we can all work together in the best interests of CIRI and its shareholders.”

Prosser added that he also continues to support the current management team, and that a special committee of the Board will be formed to review and negotiate a contract extension with CIRI President and Chief Executive Officer Carl Marrs.
