Evelyn Pauline Carmen, 70
Evelyn Pauline Carmen died March 11, at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. Mrs. Carmen was born May 21, 1934, in Wood River. She attended schools in Dillingham, Cordova and Anchorage. Mrs. Carmen graduated from Anchorage High School in 1953. On May 9, 1953, she married Dennis Carmen in Wasilla. Mrs. Carmen enjoyed bowling, dancing, handiwork and crocheting. She worked as a medical secretary for many years. Mrs. Carmen and her husband traveled extensively after retirement. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; children and spouses, Lance Carmen, Larry and Kathy Carmen, and Nancy and Jimmie Rogers; sisters and spouses, Marietta and Dave Curtis, and Gladys and Ron Roberts-Workman; brother, Clyde Peterson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kenneth E. Christoffersen, 76
Kenneth E. Christoffersen died April 21, at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. Mr. Christoffersen was born Feb. 22, 1929, in Kodiak, Alaska. He is survived by his wife, Annette; daughters, Brenda, Carol, Carrie and Jessie Christoffersen, Glenna Hill, Loriena Koruna, Esther Price, Christine Pulis, and Kathrene Waterbury; and sons, Danny, Fred, Kenneth E., Kenny, and Tim.

Clair E. Crosby II, 50
Clair E. Crosby II died March 26, at home in Anchorage. Mr. Crosby was born June 15, 1954, in Seward. Crosby was well known in Anchorage for his musical talents. Crosby was a strong advocate for accessibility for the disabled in public buildings. His many interests included painting, studying the Bible, and computers. He is survived by his son, Clair Crosby III; mother, Shirley Crosby; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vickie and Gary Wise and Carol and John East; brother and sister-in-law, E.G. and Susan Sutton; and former brother-in-law, John Hartvigson.

A. Jean Gannon, 54
A. Jean Gannon died April 16, at home in Anchorage. Ms. Gannon was born Feb. 12, 1951, in Karluk, Alaska. She is survived by her husband, Bruce E. Gannon, and daughter, Shelly A. Gannon.

Patrick Kvasnikoff, 38
Patrick Kvasnikoff died May 22, at Akron General Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Mr. Kvasnikoff was born March 30, 1967, in Chester, Calif. He is survived by his wife, Ida Kvasnikoff; mother, Trudy Fry; father, Manuel Kvasnikoff; stepsons, Jeremy Mackey and W.D. Mackey; and stepfather, Al Fry.

Gaylor Lee Lanman, 62
Gaylor Lee Lanman died Feb. 20, at Wesley Rehabilitation Care Center in Seward. Mr. Lanman was born in Anchorage. He is survived by his son, Jeff Babbitt; sisters, Kathy Johnson and Bonnie Croskrey; and brothers, Jesse Lanman and Gary Stevig.

LaVerne C. LeRoy, 53
LaVerne C. LeRoy died Nov. 28, 2004, at Providence Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Ms. LeRoy was born Jan. 26, 1951, in Seward, Alaska. She is survived by her husband, Rick LeRoy; daughters, Erica Smith and Jennifer Smith; mother, Agnes Foss; sisters, Connie Dewitt and Rebbecca Swobota; brothers, Ben Foss, Glenn Foss, Leonard Foss, and Ron Foss; and three grandchildren.

Hedy Nickita, 75
Hedy Nickita died April 17, at home in Anchorage. She was born April 30, 1929, in Knik, Alaska.

Richard Lawrence Olssen, 49
Richard Lawrence Olssen died June 2, at Madera Community Hospital in Madera, Calif. Mr. Olssen was born June 27, 1955, in Aberdeen, Wash. He is survived by his domestic partner of 20 years, Aaron Dickison; sister, Joanne M. Olssen; niece, Jenifer Magallanes; aunts, Laurel Baird, Loretta Conway, and Carmen Ivanoff; great-uncle, William "Bill" Olssen, and many cousins.

Victor William Rickteroff, 70
Victor William Rickteroff died May 23, at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. Mr. Rickteroff was born in Nondalton, Alaska. He is survived by his sisters, Linda C. Blanton and Florence Hale.

Lloyd Alan Tanzer, 69
Lloyd Alan Tanzer died Dec. 2, 2004, at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, Calif. Mr. Tanzer was born Feb. 5, 1935, in Seldovia, Alaska. He is survived by his daughter, Doris Alicia Tanzer.

Ricky L. Tocktoo, 44
Ricky L. Tocktoo died May 25, at Tangle Lakes, Alaska. He was born March 9, 1961, in Nome. He is survived by his wife, Sabrina A. Tocktoo; daughters, Jacqulyn H. Tocktoo and Rikki L.O. Tocktoo; sons, Evon R. Tocktoo, Paul J. Tocktoo, Thor J. Tocktoo, and Travis K. Tocktoo; mother, Etta Tocktoo; sisters, Mary Ann Davis, Janet Dotomain, and Paula McHale; and brother, Russell Tocktoo.

Abram (Bo) Wilson Jr., 24
Abram Bo Wilson Jr. died Feb. 6, in Nondalton, Alaska. He was born March 5, 1980, in Anchorage. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Wilson; girlfriend, Fawn Silas; mother, Nenita Wilson; sisters, Betty Wilson Evanoff and Michelle Wilson; brother, Eugene Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
