Accounting Intern
This position is responsible for general accounting support including accounts payable and receivable processing, data entry, reconciliations, account analysis, filing and other duties as assigned. This position requires: neat and legible handwriting and speedy use of calculators, typewriters and computers; accurate and orderly document filing; strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills; good oral and written communication skills; strong bookkeeping skills; knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures; and good analytical skills. Must have high school diploma or GED and two years college education with basic accounting classes preferred, or one year practical experience in accounting or any combination of education and experience to equal two years progressively responsible accounting experience.

Native American Fly-In Program
The application submission deadline is Mon., July 1, 2002, to participate in Dartmouth College's annual Native American Fly-In program, which is Thurs., Oct. 3 to 6, 2002. This program provides talented Native American high school seniors with an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the college's academic resources, student services, admission and financial aid criteria. Once a student is accepted into the Fly-In Program, Dartmouth will cover all expenses associated with airfare and on-campus rooms and meals.

Criteria to participate includes being Native American, Alaskan Native or Native Hawaiian tribe, nation or community member; a strong high school transcript; current junior status in a high school (students who will have high school senior status in the 2002-2003 school year); and sincere interest in applying to Dartmouth College.
