CIRI Spotlight:
Linda Hall, Project Accountant

CIRI descendant Linda Hall began working as CIRI’s project accountant more than two years ago. In this position, Hall provides assistance with the monthly consolidated financial reports and accounts payable for tourism projects.

Hall, of Aleut descent, grew up in a commercial fishing family in Anchorage. Her mother, CIRI shareholder Laura Wisdom, and grandmother, Mildred Walatka, both grew up in Naknek in the Bristol Bay region.

“My grandmother was the matriarch of the family and kept the family together in Anchorage, especially during the holidays,” said Hall.
Hall’s interest in accounting started with vocational training courses which led her to obtain a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage. “I enjoy accounting because there are different companies within CIRI that make it unique and challenging. Accounting is always changing and you have to stay alert to new rules,” said Hall.

Hall and her husband of 30 years, Charles, raised their family in Anchorage. Her daughter, Kellie Dolan, received a master’s degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and her son, Anthony Hall, will be starting UAA’s aircraft mechanic program this year. She is a proud grandmother and beams when she speaks of her first grandchild, Cassidy Dolan, born last September.
