CIRI Shareholder Announces Marriage & Baby

CIRI shareholder Betty Wilson married William Evanoff Sept. 5, 2003, in Nondalton, Alaska. They also welcomed their fourth child, Jayden Wesley Evanoff, into the world on March 29, 2004. Baby Jayden was 6 pounds, 10 ounces at birth. He is the grandson of the late CIRI shareholder Abe Wilson Sr.

Baby Evana

CIRI shareholder Alice Tinsley and her husband Del are the proud great-grandparents of Evana Alexandra Mauer, who was born Aug. 21, 2003, in Monroe, Wash. Baby Evana weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19.75 inches at birth. Her parents are Mark and Jesse, her grandmother is Eva Jensen. Dwayne Tinsley is her great uncle, and Signe Green is her great aunt.

Baby Dustin

Baby Dustin Deshae’ Joedan Bartels-Constantine was born to Gena Bartels and CIRI shareholder George Constantine, Jr on July 7, 2003. He weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21.5 inches in length. His grandparents are CIRI shareholders Henry J. Bartels, Sr. and Donna A. Bartels of Anchorage and Debbie J. Standifer, Johann E. Bartels, Jr, and Emma Constantine of Tyonek.

Baby Lauryn

CIRI shareholder Sharlene Rooker and her husband Gary, of Nikiski, Alaska, welcome their first grandchild, Lauryn Nicole Avery. Daughter Holly and Jon Avery, of Soldotna, welcomed baby Lauryn on Feb. 21, 2004, at Central Peninsula General Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 13.6 ounces at birth.

Baby Steven

Steven Ernie Standifer was born on March 10, 2004, at 7:30 a.m.. He weighed 7 pounds, 14.6 ounces and was 21.5 inches. Steven is the son of Elizabeth Jane Standifer and the brother of Janie Lee Standifer. His grandparents are CIRI shareholders Ernest Steven and Jane Alexandria Standifer. Steven is the great grandchild of S. Hugh Baker and CIRI shareholder Elizabeth Baker and the nephew of Marcy Lee Standifer.

Baby Ava

Ava Valentina Ashmore was born July 19, 2003, at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Wash. She weighed 8 pounds, .5 ounce and was 20.25 inches long at birth. Ava’s parents are CIRI shareholder Shannon and T’ya Ashmore. Ava joins siblings Keara and Shawna. Her grandparents are CIRI shareholder Roberta and Tom Hallam of Auburn, Wash.; Robert and Beverly Ashmore of Des Moines, Wash.; Vyrna Layton of Kent, Wash.; and Richard and Carol Layton of Surrey, B.C., Canada. Her great grandparents are CIRI shareholder Robert Ekstrom, of Shirleyville, Alaska; Grace Murphy of Anchorage; and Bob and Rita Peters of Palmer, Alaska.

Shiela Isaak Graduates from College

CIRI shareholder Sharon Isaak and her husband David announce the graduation of Shiela Marie Isaak from Western Baptist College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and a minor in music.

Hurlburt Earns Degree

Jeff Hurlburt Jr., of Middletown, Conn., the son of CIRI shareholder Julie Johnnie of Tyonek, Alaska, graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in January 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
