Henry S. Bartos died Oct. 18, 2003, at Heritage Place in Soldotna, Alaska.
Mr. Bartos was born Feb. 13, 1921, in Niagra Falls, N.Y. He is survived
by his daughters, Katie Lee and Henia Minium; and son, James Bartos.
Sifton Brendon Bob, 30
Sifton Brendon Bob, also known as “Peblo,” died July 6, 2003,
at his campsite on Manning Island, Alaska. Mr. Bob was born Oct. 26, 1972,
in Anchorage, Alaska. He is survived by his wife, Brenda M. Bob; daughters,
Robyn S. C. Bob and Brandi M. D. Bob; sons, Henry Byron Bob and Brandon
Richard Bob; sisters, Sally Leopold and Cecelia Andrews; and brother,
Isaac Bob.
May Joyce Colberg, 70
May Joyce Colberg died Sept. 13, 2003, at her daughter’s home in
Port Orchard, Wash. Ms. Colberg was born May 11, 1933, in Seldovia, Alaska.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia L. Brady; son, Gerasim Timothy
Colberg; granddaughter, Samantha Brady; grandsons, Beau Brady, Kyle Brady,
Jake Brady, T.C. Colberg, and Thomas Colberg; and sisters, Louise Gorder,
Helen Tennison, and Luba Yerrington.
Harold Harvey Joe, 72
Harold Harvey Joe died Oct. 8, 2003, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in
Los Angeles, Calif. Mr. Joe was born March 16, 1931, in Chitina, Alaska.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Joe, and step-daughter, Gina Treadway.
Eleanor L. Kaye, 42
Eleanor L. Kaye died April 11, 2003, in Juneau, Alaska. Ms. Kaye was born
June 30, 1960, in Calif. She is survived by her sons, Matthew R. Castillo
and Anthony Eugene Kaye-Bevelhymer.
Raymond Wooksuk Seetomona, 66
Raymond Wooksuk Seetomona died Sept. 28, 2003, at Providence Hospital
in Anchorage, Alaska. Mr. Seetomona was born June 25, 1937, in Shishmaref,
Alaska. He is survived by his wife, Linda Chi Seetomona; daughter, Thuha
Nakasone; daughters and sons-in-law, Mimi and Edgar Tinajero, and Joanne
and Michael Yim; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Danelle Seetomona,
and David and Marcella Seetomona; mother, Glenna Seetomona; sisters, Lorena
Seetomona, Harriet Cutshall, and Marilyn Seetomona; and brothers, Elmer
Avessuk, Steve Seetomona, Coolidge Seetomona, and Charlie Seetomona.
