Donald D. Adams died July 11, 2003, in Anchorage, Alaska. Mr. Adams was born July 19, 1959, in Anchorage, Alaska. He is survived by his father, Howard Adams, Sr.; sisters, Linda L. and Brenda J. Adams; and brothers, Joel M. and Howard Adams, Jr.

Robert Apok, Jr., 69
Robert Apok, Jr. died July 21, 2003, at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. Mr. Apok was born May 4, 1934. He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Jackson, Sonia Greigo, and Karen Ferguson; son, Robert Apok III; sisters, Mary M. Apok, Ethel P. Koshney, Annie E. Kozak, Marjorie M. Troffer, Arlene M. Soxie, Roberta L. Rodin, and Barbara L. Apok; and brothers, James A. and Gerald B. Apok.

Patricia Chappell, 56
Patricia Chappell died July 10, 2003, at home in Anchorage, Alaska. Ms. Chappell was born May 1, 1947. She is survived by her son, Martin Chappell; sisters, Harriet Kaufman and Carol Kompkoff; and brothers, Arnie, Art, Ernie, and Robert Standifer, Jr.

Peter F. Demarmels, 63
Peter F. Demarmels died March 6, 2003, at home in Harpursville, New York. Mr. Demarmels was born Dec. 15, 1939, in Warwick, New York. He is survived by his daughter, Denise D. Demarmels, and grandson, Timothy J. Demarmels.

Pete (aka Peter) Ivor Elvsaas, 72
Pete Ivor Elvsaas died June 3, 2003, at the South Peninsula Long Term Care facility in Homer, Alaska. Mr. Elvsaas was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Seldovia, Alaska. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; daughters, Sharon Bond and Charlotte Elvsaas; sons, Melvin and Peter Elvsaas, Jr.; sisters, Petreena Getty, Inga Caffrey, and Loucairia Hampton; and brothers, Fred H. and Herman Elvsaas.

Amy Louise Kirschner, 23
Amy Louise Kirschner died May 21, 2003, in Crystal, Minnesota. Ms. Kirschner was born Jan. 23, 1980, in Robinsdale, Minnesota. She is survived by her mother, Rebecca Kirschner, and sister, Cassie Marie Kirschner.

Gerald Roy Nicoli, Sr., 68
Gerald Roy Nicoli died July 31, 2003, in Anchorage, Alaska. He was born Jan. 14, 1935, at Susitna Station and lived his life in Talkeetna. Mr. Nicoli attended Mount Edgecumbe and was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard in 1966. He loved hunting, fishing, working with wood and painting. He is survived by his brother, William B. Nicoli; sisters, Virginia Cullars and Donna Schwiezer; children, Renee Rebecca Nicoli, Brenda Marie Nicoli, Bonnie Lee Nicoli, and Gerald Roy Nicoli, Jr.; and many grandchildren.

Mary Ann Robson, 61
Mary Ann Robson died Aug. 1, 2003, at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. Ms. Robson was born March 3, 1942, in Anchorage, Alaska. She is survived by her husband, Gerald E. Robson; children, Jerry, Monte, and Mike Robson; sisters, Ollie Hudson and Ruby Robson; and brother, Allan Dahl.

Gladys H. Traversie, 90
Gladys H. Traversie died July 31, 2003, at Immaculate Conception Home in Anchorage, Alaska. Ms. Traversie was born Sept. 20, 1912, in Egavik, Alaska. She is survived by her sister, Anna Etageak; brother, Daniel Savetilik; and many nieces and nephews.
