| Accounts Payable Intern, CIRI Tourism Accounts Receivable Intern, CIRI Tourism These two positions are responsible for various entry-level accounting functions, general ledger activity, and beginning project accounting. The interns will gain exposure to all aspects of the accounts payable or accounts receivable functions, including training on the Lawson system, data entry and posting experience, check printing and subsystem records management. Special projects may materialize from time to time and will be directed as appropriate. Must have a high school diploma or GED; previous experience in clerical field preferred; and experience using general office equipment including industry standard computer software preferred. |

| Accounting Intern This position is responsible for general accounting support including accounts payable and receivable processing, data entry, reconciliations, account analysis, and filing and other duties as assigned. This position requires: neat and legible handwriting and speedy use of calculators, typewriters and computer terminals; accurate and orderly document filing; strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills; oral and written communication skills; strong bookkeeping skills; knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures; good analytical skills. Must have high school diploma or GED and two years college education with basic accounting classes preferred. One year practical experience in accounting or any combination of education and experience to equal two years progressively responsible accounting experience. |

| Community Relations Summer Intern This position provides general clerical and special project support to the community relations specialist. Duties include: clerical support, help coordinate the CIRI golf tournament, process donation requests, coordinate participation for community and special events, keeping community relations notebook and calendar up-to-date, and research. Must have a high school diploma or GED, previous experience in clerical field preferred; general office equipment including industry standard computer software and knowledge of FileMaker preferred. Must be well organized, able to work independently on projects, and have good written and oral communications skills. |

| Marketing Intern/Assistant, CIRI Tourism This position provides general clerical and marketing support to the tourism department. Duties include: help maintain various marketing files in existing libraries, act as front line receptionist for tourism department, general clerical support as needed, assist both sales and marketing staff in database maintenance, inventory control, and coordination of special projects and other duties as assigned. Must have a high school diploma or GED, previous experience in clerical field preferred. Strong interest in learning the marketing and advertising business from the inside; experience using general office equipment including standard computer software (Word, Excel, Access). Driver's license and reliable transportation is needed. Experience in computer graphic programs an asset. |

| Seasonal Groundskeeper This position provides maintenance of grounds and interior and exterior common areas of CIRI owned properties. Duties include maintenance of all the grounds and common areas with all landscaping equipment, restocking janitorial supplies and other duties as assigned. Must have basic knowledge of landscaping and grounds keeping equipment and duties; able to work without constant supervision and able to determine areas that need attention; clean, presentable appearance; able to lift 50 to100 pounds; written and verbal communication skills appropriate for position; Alaska driver's license preferred. |

| Summer Legal Associate This position performs legal research and drafting tasks, and other duties as assigned, under the direction of the general counsel. Duties include: conduct legal research as requested or as necessary in support of assigned projects; draft letters, legal documents, reports and memoranda for general counsel and others. Assist in legal department projects as requested. Must have experience conducting various types of legal research, including familiarity with Westlaw; knowledge of second year law school fundamental legal principles; able to read, understand, and interpret contracts, government regulations, and legal documents and to prepare memoranda summarizing and analyzing issues; and computer proficiency. Minimum experience includes high school diploma, four-year college degree, and two years of law school preferred. Strong academic record with experience using industry standard computer software desired. |
