Helpful Tips When Filling Out Your Scholarship and Grant Applications
-
Please read The CIRI Foundation (TCF)Scholarship and Grant application
form and guidelines completely before you fill out the application
form.
-
Pay attention to the scholarship and grant deadlines. Make sure
that you mail, fax, or hand deliver your application so TCF receives
your application before the deadline. The Education Awards Committee
considers late applications only if there is sufficient funding available
after all on-time applications have been considered.
-
Completely fill out your application form; missing information will
delay processing of your application.
-
TCF requires official transcripts. Official transcripts are signed
or certified by the school registrar. Unofficial copies and internet
printouts that state unofficial grades are not acceptable.
-
Reference letters must include a date, signature, and contact information
for the reference person. Reference letters are valid for two years.
The CIRI Foundation staff is available to assist with any questions about
the application process. If you have other questions, such as how to request
transcripts from your school, who to ask for a reference letter, or where
to locate additional funding, TCFstaff is available to help.
