Executive Assistant, Real Estate
CIRI is accepting resumes for an executive assistant position in the real estate department. This position is responsible for providing high-level administrative and related support services to the vice president of real estate, the land manager and director of real estate. The minimum qualifications are a high school diploma and business college as well as a minimum of three years of responsible executive secretary experience or any combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities and a high degree of technical skills.
 
Safety Manager
CIRI is accepting resumes for the safety manager position in the legal department. This position is responsible for planning, implementing and coordinating a safety program to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths and financial losses. This entails developing accident prevention programs loss control systems, emergency response programs and other safety programs for incorporation into CIRI policy. Also conducts site inspections and audits facilities for implementation of and adherence to policies and procedures. Trains employees on various safety issues.

Study Skills Instructor
This position is responsible for academic improvement of high school students and reducing the dropout rate. The instructor will teach study skills classes at Dimond High School for five periods a day. Students in the class will learn how to succeed in school and raise basic skills. Students with attendance issues will receive early intervention services. The instructor will sponsor a Native American Leadership Club, recruit three students into the Youth Services Employment Program and engage parents/guardians in the education of their children. Applicants must hold a secondary teacher's certification and have demonstrated success in assessing reasons for student failure in high school.
 
Skills Development Specialist
A skills development specialist is needed at William Tyson Elementary School. This position is responsible for academic improvement of students and increasing attendance rates. This position will provide academic assistance in three major capacities, including a reading emphasis program; inclusion services in the classroom, individually, or in small groups; and an after-school homework club. Qualifications for this position include elementary teacher certification with an emphasis on reading and one year successfully working with at-risk Alaska Native/Native American youth in an urban educational setting.
