CIRI Shareholder Becomes a Grandpa castell
CIRI shareholder Russ Christenson and his wife Yvonne have become the proud grandparents of Castell, who was born at the Alaska Native Medical
Center on June 29th. Castell is the son of Meghan Christenson and weighed seven pounds, 111/2 ounces
at birth.
 
Five Generations
CIRI descendant Sara Lynn Reid, born Dec. 3, 1999, at the Phoenix Indian Hospital in Arizona, makes the fifth generation for her family. Here she is pictured with her great-great-great Uncle Valentine Supsook, of Pilot Point; Great-Grandma Agnes Samuelson; Grandma Greta Pridham and Mom Greta Reid.

Teresa Elizabeth Borman, 52
Teresa E. Borman died April 10, 2000, at home. Mrs. Borman was born in Chevak, Alaska on Sept. 13, 1947. She is survived by her husband Frank; son Franklin; daughters Tillie Bell and Lisa Borman; grandchildren Adrienne, Taryn, Clifton, Triston, Cyressa; sisters Julia Peter, Theresa Gump, Martha Bartall, Lena Woods; and brother Cornelius Woods.
 
Lena A. Demientieff, 73
Lena A. Demientieff died July 23, 2000, at home. Ms. Demientieff was born in Holikachuck, Alaska on Oct. 24, 1926. She is survived by her daughter Agnes Demientieff; daughters and sons-in-law Winnie and Dave Burkett, Charlotte and Dennis West, Maidie and Thomas Maillelle, Sr.; brothers Willy and Phillip Nicholi; many grand and great grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
 
Norman Glen Frostad, 64
Norman G. Frostad died July 18, 2000, at the Alaska Native Medical Center. Mr. Frostad was born in Kenai, Alaska on Oct. 13, 1935. He is survived by his wife Gertrude Frostad; sons Erik and Greg; daughters Monika Scott and Brandi Murphy; brother Edward Frostad and sister Curlene Harker.
 
Melvin Lars Juliussen, Sr., 57
Melvin L. Juliussen, Sr., died July 16, 2000, at his fishing site in Kasilof. Mr. Juliussen was born in Kenai, Alaska on Oct. 17, 1942. He is survived by his wife Katherine Juliussen; son Melvin L. Juliussen, Jr., sisters Dorothy Hermansen, Beatris Stanford, Alida Bayes; and brothers Eugene and Michael Juliussen.
 
Alexandria ÒSandraÓ Irene Kelly Wells, 95
Alexandria ÒSandraÓ I. Wells died July 9, 2000, in Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington. She is survived by her brother Victor Kelly; sister Mary Crosley; 11 grandchildren including Bobbie Oskolkoff, Rodger and Michael Painter, Kathleen Graves, Robert Cooper, Jr., John, Angie and Tish Cooper, Alfred Cooper III, Audrey Daughtery and Sandra Chapman; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
