| Board Declares 2001 Third Quarter Dividend | |

The CIRI board of directors declared a 2001 third quarter dividend in the amount of $8.38 per share, or $838 per 100 shares, to be distributed September 28, 2001.
CIRI has been distributing regular dividends to its shareholders since 1980. The companyıs current policy is to pay 35 percent of the average prior five yearsı net income. After distribution of the third quarter dividend for 2001, CIRI will have paid out since inception approximately $727.7 million, comprised of dividends, 7(j) distributions, and Alaska Native Fund distributions. This equates to $116,004 for an at-large CIRI shareholder who owns 100 shares since enrollment under ANCSA. Westin Kierland Resort Accepting Reservations The Westin Kierland Resort, which broke ground last December, is now accepting reservations for dates after January 1, 2003. CIRI is an equity investor in this 750-room resort hotel located in Arizonaıs Phoenix/Scottsdale Valley.Once the hotel is complete, The Westin Kierland Resort will be a spectacular golf resort destination with the adjoining 27-hole Kierland Golf Club, which is already open and playable. In addition to guestrooms and golf, The Westin Kierland Resort will offer three restaurants and over 70,000 square feet of meeting space to accommodate small and large groups. The resort will also feature two swimming pools, tennis courts and a play court for basketball and other sports. |
