Brianna Magby, The CIRI Foundation Administrative Assistant
As the new administrative assistant at the CIRI Foundation, Brianna Magby is enjoying her job and the opportunity to work with students pursuing their educational goals. As a college student, she knows how important financial aid can be to those continuing their education.

Magby, who is a CIRI descendent, was born and raised in Carlsbad, NM, and is of Inupiaq and European heritage. She graduated from Carlsbad Senior High School in 1999 and moved to Anchorage a year later.

Today, she attends the University of Alaska Anchorage, where she is majoring in education and planning to minor in English. Once she completes her undergraduate degree, she intends to work toward a master's degree in education or English. Ultimately, she aspires to teach third grade at one of Anchorage's elementary schools.

While working and going to school fulltime can be challenging, Magby's goals inspire her to follow the path that she's chosen to take. Aside from work and school, she enjoys hiking and fishing as well as seeing plays and movies.
