Shareholder Records Coordinator The Shareholder Records Coordinator acts as a liaison between shareholders, the Shareholder Relations Department, and various agencies regarding shareholder-related matters. This position provides assistance in person, by phone, and through written correspondence. He/she will process shareholder record changes and other statistical changes in the computer. The minimum experience for this position is a high school education and some college with emphasis on business and office skills, minimum six months computer data processing; or any combination of training and experience that provides the required skills and abilities. Accounting Clerk This position is responsible for bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and general accounting support to include data entry, filing and reporting requirements. The minimum requirements are one or two years college education with basic accounting classes and one year practical experience in accounting or two years progressively responsible accounting experience; or any combination of education and experience to meet the requirements. Land & GIS Technician The Land & GIS Technician provides support for land management activities. It is a key position in implementing the computer-aided mapping and database system (GIS). It also provides computer-orientated cartographic, technical and graphic design services for CIRI and its associates. Experience necessary is an associate of applied sciences, computer science, land management, administration or a related field and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in surveying or cartographic drafting in land related business, or any combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Additionally, it is the governing board for the Special Education Service Agency and makes recommendations to the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority. The Council is composed of 28 members appointed by the Governor to represent consumers having developmental disabilities, their parents, state agencies and other persons involved in the issues that impact Alaskans with disabilities. Members may serve terms of three years or until they are replaced by the Governor. As volunteers, they agree to attend four regular statewide meetings and participate in monthly teleconferences as advocates for all Alaskans with disabilities and their families. Council activities may take up to 10 hours a month. To be eligible for appointment a candidate must have voted in the last general election and meet at least one of the categories of representation required by the Developmental Disability Act or the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Part B or C. Currently, recruitment is for four parent representatives and two consumer representatives.
