Seward Windsong Lodge Position
  • Dishwasher
    This position is responsible for washing, sanitizing, and stocking of serviceware, smallwares and equipment, as well as cleaning and maintenance of dishwashing equipment. This position requires the knowledge of proper food handling and health standards, the ability to operate standard kitchen equipment, and the ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge Positions
  • Runner
    This position is responsible for stripping and stocking lodge rooms, providing excellent customer service to hotel guests, maintaining outside appearance of all lodge buildings, safely operating lodge vehicle, and assisting luggage transfers. This position requires a positive customer service attitude, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Bus Person
    This position is responsible for assisting service personnel with meal service in a professional manner, keeping dining room and service area clean and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a positive customer service attitude, previous restaurant experience, and ability to lift 35 pounds with some bending and lifting.
  • Food Server
    This position is responsible for providing beverage and meal service in a professional and pleasant manner, and is accountable for food served and monies collected. This position requires a positive customer service attitude, previous food service experience, ability to lift 35 pounds, alcohol service training card (TIPS, TAM, or equivalent).
  • Prep Cook
    This position is responsible for preparing basic food production stocks for standardized recipes and presentations, knowledge of proper use and handling of food and equipment. This position requires a positive customer service attitude, prior kitchen experience, ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
Koahnic Broadcast Corporation
  • Associate Director of Development
    The director of development carries out the fundraising plan for Koahnic Broadcast Corporation and bears primary responsibility for grant seeking for Native programs developed for Koahnic, as well as other special events determined by the director of marketing and development. This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, effective presentation style, understanding of office computer systems, ability to work well under pressure, independently and as a team member, meeting deadlines, knowledge of Native issues and public radio a plus. Applicants must have a college degree in marketing, development or equivalent; three to five years experience in marketing or promotion; demonstrated skills in marketing research and campaign design and non-commercial radio industry; and the ability to successfully manage a team of professionals. Experience negotiating program rates and carriage contracts also preferred.
  • Accounting Clerk
    This part-time position is responsible for providing accounting, administrative, and related support services for the director of finance and administration, including preparing check requests and assisting with the preparation of budgets. The requirements for this position include prior related experience in a professional office, proficiency with Microsoft Office software, and excellent organization skills. A college degree in related field is preferred.
  • Operations Assistant
    This part-time position prepares material from a variety of sources for broadcast on KNBA 90.3 FM. The successful applicant must have competence in audio engineering for radio; experience with computer hardware and software applicable to digital audio, the internet, and LANS; familiarity with the public radio system, and ability to work well with others under pressure. Duties include editing and preparation of programs for broadcast; recording underwriting and public service announcements; maintaining computer archives of audio programs; preparing overnight programming as directed; assisting remote broadcasts; and other production-related duties as assigned.
