| Baby Chase Addison Hoyt was born on Feb. 22, 2001, at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Wash. He weighed six pounds nine ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long. Chase is the son of CIRI descendant Adam Hoyt and wife Julie Heinrich-Hoyt. Adam's mother is CIRI shareholder Linda Hoyt, from Fort Worth, TX, and his grandmother is CIRI shareholder Esther Bahnke, from Anchorage, Alaska. Julie's stepfather and mother are Jim and Jeanne Niva of Anchorage, Alaska, and her grandmother is Velma Nieto, from Long Beach, Calif. | |

| Jaidyn Alea Makos was born Feb. 9, 2001, at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. She weighed six pounds and 12 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. Jaidyn is the daughter of CIRI shareholder Carole Makos and husband Matt. CIRI shareholder Mary Wolcoff is Jaidyn's grandmother. | |
| Marrs & Harrison Wed | |
| CIRI shareholder Crystal Marrs and LeRoy Harrison, Jr. were married March 18, 2001, at the Liliuokalani Botanical Gardens in Honolulu, Hawaii. Crystal is the daughter of Carl Marrs and Emily Marrs, both of Anchorage. LeRoy Jr. is the son of Leroy Harrison, Sr. and Barbara Campbell, also of Anchorage. Carl gave Crystal away in a traditional Hawaiian-style wedding in front of a waterfall. A small reception followed in Waikiki, and another reception will be held in Anchorage for family and friends. Crystal and LeRoy are expecting a baby girl in June and plan to honeymoon at a later date. | |

| Eleven-year-old CIRI descendant Danielle Reppen recently modeled for an Orange County, Calif., company sales campaign. Danielle, a sixth grader, is the daughter of CIRI shareholder Betsy Demientieff Reppen and granddaughter of CIRI shareholder Daisy Demientieff, who was the 2000 shareholder of the year. | |
