College Prep : Careers : Culture
An experience like no other, this camp has it all — culture, college prep and careers. The CIRI C3 Experience is a three-day, two-night camp to be held in Anchorage and Chugiak in August that brings together young CIRI shareholders and descendants (age 15-19) to foster leadership skills and help prepare them for college and their careers. While at camp, the participants will hear from Alaska Native professionals and engage in collaborative exercises to hone their skills to successfully apply for college, draft the perfect essay, learn about internship opportunities at Alaska Native organizations and create a professional resume.
The CIRI C3 Experience also engages the participants in Alaska Native culture. From Elder storytellers to Alaska Native games and dances, the camp celebrates the rich cultures and diversity of Alaska’s Native people. All transportation, housing and meal costs will be covered for qualified participants.
