CIRI’s Take the Next Generation to Work day is dedicated to helping young shareholders and descendants explore future career paths by inviting them to spend the day at CIRI. The program encourages girls and boys to reach their full potential by providing an opportunity to learn about the company and experience what’s involved in and required for jobs they may be interested in. Youth participants will have the chance to hear from CIRI’s executive team and will spend time with an employee sponsor to learn about areas of the company that align with their interests.
Interested young people—who must be a CIRI shareholder or descendant between 10 years old through high school age and a resident of Cook Inlet region—must complete an application and winners will be selected in a random drawing. The parent or legal guardian of each minor must approve the minor’s participation and arrange for his or her transportation to CIRI’s corporate offices in Anchorage.
CIRI accepts applications for Next Generation Day year round. Each year the day will be held on the third Monday of January, with an application deadline of the first Friday in January for the current year’s program. More information and the application packet are available here and from Shareholder Relations. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 907-263-5562 with questions about the program or application process
