Aaron Adams died Sept. 8 at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage.
Mr. Adams was born Oct. 21, 1931, in Golovin, Alaska. He is survived by his wife, Helen Adams.

Mary Aniska Flood, 76
Mary Aniska Flood died Aug. 11 at the Sitka Pioneer Home in Sitka, Alaska. Ms. Flood was born Oct. 23, 1933, near Holy Cross, Alaska to Charles and Antonia Edwards. She married her husband Tom Flood on April 18, 1954. Mary and Tom enjoyed living at Lake Minchumina in interior Alaska, where they built their log cabin home and gardens. She loved to hunt, fish, trap and garden. She is survived by nieces, Marty (and Bruce) Wilson and Jenny Sauder.

Mark Allen Foster, 51
Mark Allen Foster died Sept. 3 at Providence Hospital in Anchorage. Mr. Foster was born in Texarkana, Texas. He is survived by his daughters, Natasha and Felecia Foster; son, Joseph Foster; and sisters, Carla Castro and Deborah Price.

Ruby Janice Golden, 48
Ruby Janice Golden died May 2 at the Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada, Mo. Ms. Golden was born July 28, 1961, in Ft. Yukon, Alaska. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Guy Manuel and Tony Lee Manuel; and sister, Eva Marie Springer.

Brenda Lorraine Gregoire, 51
Brenda Lorraine Gregoire died Sept. 28. Brenda was born Feb. 14, 1959 in Homer, Alaska to Violet Blatchford and Paul Jones. Brenda lived a subsistence lifestyle, commercial fishing with her husband Paul Gregoire every summer. She had a passion for gardening and loved to visit her grandchildren, Lili, Jayden and Audra. She is survived by her husband, Paul Gregoire; daughters, Katrina Leiva and Jamie Pennington; son, Mathew Gregoire, sons-in-law Frank Leiva and Mason Pennington; mother, Violet Mack; grandchildren, Liliana, Jayden and Audra Leiva; brothers, Larry Jones, Roland Jones, Alfred Jones and Cody Mack and many other relatives and friends who knew and loved her.

Nora Hamersley, 78
Nora Hamersley died May 14 at Providence Extended Care in Anchorage. Ms. Hamersley was born in Pt. Hope, Alaska. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Kuzma; son, Joe Hamersley; and grandchildren, Jamie Dann, Heidi Hunter, J. Ethan Kuzma and Bryan Hamersley.

Mary Walkoota Lane, 86
Mary Walkoota Lane died Sept. 18 at home in Anchorage. Ms. Lane was born in Boxer Bay on St. Lawrence Island, Alaska. She was a loving mother and enjoyed teaching her culture to her children and community. She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine K. Gafford and Charlene M. Lane; sons, Russell K. Silook and Charles A. Lane Jr.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Virginia McMillan, 79
Virginia McMillan died Sept. 21 at home in Anchorage, surrounded by family and friends. Ms. McMillan was born May 6, 1931, at the Alaska Native Hospital in Anchorage. She was gifted with many talents, including making shirts and blouses out of flour sacks, sewing beautiful square dance dresses, painting, drawing, and crocheting. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Tom Yates, Virginia and Dan Griffith, and Maribeth Forest; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Susan McMillan; sisters, Clara Kisch and Annie Knigge; and grandchildren, Chrystal and Christine McMillan, Thomas Yates III, Eric Griffith, Craig Griffith, Allison Larson, Bobby Crosby and John Pina.

William Thomas McNair, 40
William Thomas McNair died Sept. 7 at home in Clear Lake, Wash. Mr. McNair was born in Anchorage, Alaska. He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Douglas McNair; and brother, Scott McNair.

Jenny Lee Runstetler, 82
Jenny Lee Runstetler died Sept. 3 at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, surrounded by family and friends. Ms. Runstetler was born July 4, 1928 at fish camp in Iliamna to Katherine Simeon and Michael C. Rickteroff. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Wright, Susan Benyish and Mary Ann Peplinski; sons-in-law, Michael Wright and Richard Peplinski; grandchildren, Nicodemous Marsing and Thrina (Media), Justin Marsing and Heather (Wilson), Tina and Emily Wright, Stephen Peplinski and Marianna, and Erik, Kayla and Erica Benyish; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Brayton and Gage Marsing, and Ember and Phoenix Marsing; brother, David Rickteroff; nephews, Alan Victoroff and family, and Kurt Jensen; and nieces, Amber and Bernice Victoroff and family, and Debra Brown and family.

Charles Allen Seetomona “Aknaalook”, 57
Charles Allen Seetomona died Nov. 6, 2009, at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. Mr. Seetomona was born August 31, 1952, in Nome, Alaska to Tommy and Glenna Seetomona. Mr. Seetomona will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind, gentle, cheerful, humble and handsome man whose life was a tribute to kindness, humility, forgiveness and acceptance. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Elmer and Mary Avessuk, Stephen and Loretta Seetomona, Lorena Seetomona, Coolidge Seetomona, Harriet and Everett Cutshall, Marilyn Seetomona, Viola Seetomona and Linda Seetomona; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeffery Lynn Shull, 68
Jeffery Lynn Shull died Feb. 17 at home in Yelm, Wash. Mr. Shull was born July 10, 1941, in Los Angeles, Calif. He is survived by his uncle, Richard B. Slakey.
