Alice G. Malidore passed away May 19 at home in Portland, Ore. Ms. Malidore was born Aug. 15, 1922, in Philadelphia. She is survived by her children, John W. Malidore Jr. (Darlene), Rebecca G. Hodges (Ray) and Jennifer E. Malidore (Jim); grandchildren, Scott, Lamora, Michelle, Richard, Christopher, Shari, Chuck, Richie, Nick, Dana, Hope, Jamie, Joshua, Keith and Neil; 47 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

LaTonia Michelle Mejia-Lora passed away May 16 at home in Anchorage. Ms. Mejia-Lora was born Dec. 3, 1977, in Anchorage. She is survived by her grandfather, Chuck Croley; uncle, Chuck Campbell; aunt, Patricia Rhymes; children, Chase McMichael, Heaven McMichael and Manolo Lara; cousins, Lorraine, Jacqueline, Andrew, Mandy, Lucia and Enrique; and brothers, Thomas McMichael and Timothy Smith.

Patrick T. Kakaruk passed away May 29 at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. Mr. Kakaruk was born Nov. 2, 1956, in Nome, Alaska. Growing up, he was taught by his parents outdoor and subsistance skills. As an adult, Mr. Kakaruk enjoyed spending time with his family in the great outdoors. He is survived by his sisters, Ann Kalerak, Katherine King, Mary Ellen Baier, Linda P. Kakaruk and Margaret Kakaruk; and brothers, Floyd Kakaruk, Steven Kakaruk and Walter P. Kakaruk.
