Marie Miller (Aleut) is a descendant of Agrafena Rastorguev, the matriarch in the book “Agrafena’s Children,” which details 150 years of genealogical history of the first Alaska Native people who permanently settled in Ninilchik, Alaska. She actively gathers village stories and ancestry information and enjoys providing her five children and 26 grandchildren with lineage data and glimpses into village life. Marie was born in Kenai, Alaska, and spent many years with her husband on a large family farm in Iowa. They currently work as the Miller Team Realtors in Washington State.
