The combination of its stunning views of Denali, warm atmosphere and dedicated customer service earned the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge a coveted award from one of Alaska’s long-time tour operators. John Hall’s Alaska awarded the lodge with its overall Partner of the Year award. This is the second year in a row the lodge has received the award that was presented to the CIRI Alaska Tourism (CATC) team in October at the Alaska Travel Industry Association’s annual convention in Sitka.
John Hall’s Alaska is a family-owned tour operation that has nearly three decades of experience hosting visitors in Alaska. The company offers land and cruise tours throughout the state with six unique itineraries, many of which include lodging at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
“Mountain views of Denali’s south face, a grand roaring fireplace and friendly people-what’s better than that?” That’s how John Hall’s Alaska described the lodge in announcing the Partner of the Year award.
The awards are presented to selected partners at the end of each visitor season based on evaluations received from guests as well as follow-up phone conversations between the guest and John Hall’s family members. The Partner of the Year award takes into consideration the atmosphere, amenities, quality of food and beverage and customer service.
“We’re honored to receive this recognition and I commend the staff at the lodge for their commitment to excellent service in making each guest’s stay memorable,” said Chris Scheffer, general manager of the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. “We’re thrilled to embrace each tour from John Hall’s Alaska when it arrives at the lodge and we look forward to delivering the same level of service for many years to come.”
Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge is one of the spectacular opportunities CATC offers visitors to Alaska. CATC also operates Alaska Heritage Tours, Kenai Fjords Tours, Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge and Seward Windsong Lodge.
