Douglas W. Fifer

CIRI Board Chair – Tlingit

Douglas W. Fifer is a retired Municipality of Anchorage Police officer and successful Alaskan entrepreneur. He was a union representative of the Anchorage Police Department Employee Association and volunteers his time and expertise with numerous non-profit organizations in Alaska and the Lower 48. Fifer serves as a director of the Alaska Native Justice Center.  He is on the compensation committee, and serves as a director and finance committee chair of Cook Inlet Tribal Council, and serves as vice-chair for CITC Enterprises, Inc, a for-profit subsidiary of CITC. He currently serves as a trustee of the CIRI Settlement Trust, and has served on the CIRI Board since 2006.
