Hannah Strand is Athabascan and a member of the Nenana Native Village. She enjoys camping with her family, hiking with her dogs, and playing hockey with friends. Hannah is currently transferring from the University of Arizona to the University of Alaska Anchorage, where she is applying to the nursing program after two years as a pre-nursing student. She aims to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Hannah has worked as a coffee barista and a nanny throughout high school and part of college. This summer, she will start a certified nursing assistant course, hoping to work in that capacity while continuing her education.
