CIRI descendant Timothy “Tim” Juliussen graduated from Troy University with a degree in international relations on May 11, 2007. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army later that day and was recently promoted to first lieutenant. He is currently serving as a platoon leader for the 690th Medical Ground Ambulance Company at Fort Benning, Ga. He will be deployed to Iraq in early 2009 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tim and his wife, Barrington (Barri), recently celebrated their son Noah’s second birthday. Tim is the son of CIRI shareholders Valery Haney and Mike Juliussen of Kenai, Alaska. Tim’s family and friends wish him “God speed” for a safe return from Iraq.
