CIRI shareholder Sharon Gronholdt- Dye has edited and published a book with Aleut artist and baidarka instructor Michael Livingston. The book, titled “Chagudax, A Small Window into the Life of an Aleut Bentwood Hat Carver,” was written by CIRI shareholder Andrew Gronholdt, an artist and former director of the Aleut Corp. who helped revitalize the ancient art of bentwood hat-making.
