CIRI Shareholder Gwen Chickalusion is pleased to announce the graduation of her son, Aleksei “AJ” Allowan, from Homer Flex High School in Homer, Alaska. AJ completed his senior year early, in December 2023, and participated in his school’s graduation ceremony on May 14. AJ began his high school journey in Tyonek, Alaska, at the Tebughna School as a freshman and moved to Homer the following year. Father is CIRI Shareholder Leonard Allowan. Brother is Kela Thomas Allowan. Grandmothers are CIRI Shareholders Norma Chickalusion of Tyonek and the late Pauline Allowan.
