Building strength and stability through purpose and partnership

As 2025 draws to a close, we reflect on a year of growth, balance and a deeper connection. CIRI has continued to evolve—financially, operationally and culturally—while staying true to our purpose of promoting the economic and social well-being of our Shareholders and their families.
This year, we strengthened the foundation of a global enterprise that now spans multiple states, countries and continents. From supporting U.S. military operations and advancing cybersecurity to environmental cleanup and infrastructure development, CIRI’s reach is broad and purposeful. Across CIRI and our family of companies, nearly 3,000 people are working around the world, often in demanding conditions, to contribute to the prosperity of our Shareholders.
While national and global markets remained volatile throughout 2025, our diversified portfolio and commitment to steady, long-term growth allowed us to manage that unpredictability. This measured approach extends beyond our financial strategy to our overall business philosophy: seeking efficiencies, strengthening relationships, and ensuring we continue delivering meaningful benefits to our Shareholders and Descendants, even in uncertain times.
Our success as a business enables us to do more for our Shareholders and Descendants, culture and communities—and that connection remains at the heart of all we do. This year, we increased our commitment to cultural, educational and professional development programs, creating new pathways for future generations to connect, succeed and thrive.
We have welcomed several CIRI Shareholders to leadership roles within the CIRI enterprise, including OSC Global President and CEO Michelle Lindersmith (Iñupiaq) and Board members Charles Lee (Tlingit), Cale Tolbert (Athabascan) and Kaarlo Wik (Aleut). Their strategic vision and diverse experience strengthen our ability to serve our Shareholders and Descendants at multiple levels of the organization.
Looking ahead, we plan to launch a new professional development initiative designed specifically for early- to mid-career professionals, creating opportunities for skill building, leadership growth and mentorship.
In addition, we are exploring cyber training and certification programs that will prepare Shareholders and Descendants for high-demand roles within CIRI’s expanding cyber enterprise. Together, these initiatives reflect CIRI’s long-term commitment to empowering our people through education and opportunity.
CIRI’s ANCSA mission and business remain deeply interconnected; strength in one fuels opportunity in the other. As we prepare to enter 2026, we move forward with clear purpose and a commitment to growth that honors our values and responsibilities. We are mindful of the challenges many are facing and remain committed to doing our part to create stability, opportunity and connection in the year ahead.
