Vice President, Corporate Controller
As the Vice President, Corporate Controller Rhonda Oliver leads the Shareholder relations’ and accounting departments’. Ms. Oliver oversees and ensures high-quality Shareholder customer service, communication and engagement with individual Shareholders. As CIRI’s corporate controller, Ms. Oliver is responsible for the design, implementation and supervision of all accounting systems, financial reporting, financial controls, budgeting and treasury functions.
An Ahtna Incorporated Shareholder of Athabascan descent, Ms. Oliver became controller in February 2010 and was promoted to vice president, corporate controller, in 2018. Before starting at CIRI in 1999 as director of accounting, she worked at Deloitte & Touche, a national accounting firm. Ms. Oliver holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage and is a certified public accountant (CPA). In May 2014, she completed the Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program at Alaska Pacific University. She is a member of the Alaska Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
Ms. Oliver serves on the board for the University of Alaska Foundation and on the audit committee for Special Olympics Alaska.
