CIRI 8(a) subsidiary to provide missile support services

ANC Research & Development LLC (ANC R&D) won a $500,000 contract on July 21 from NewTec, which is owned by Northrop-Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Computer Science Corp. and TRAX International. The contract requires ANC R&D to provide mission support services at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. This will involve assisting all communications systems on the missile range in working together to meet the “Net Ready/Net-Centric” requirement of the Department of Defense. The contract will conclude in January 2009.

A team of companies including ANC R&D won another contract on July 25. The “USAMS II” contract is the support contract for STRATCOM (U.S. Strategic Command) in Omaha, Neb. ANC R&D was one of six teams that were selected for the $900 million USAMS II contract. The teams will bid on task orders in the next stage of the process. Some of the work could be in Colorado Springs, Colo., where ANC R&D has an office. The team includes CSS.NET, AC4S, Accenture, ANC, Analex/QinetiQ, Apogee, CACI, .GDIT and ANC R&D.
