Stellar Space Experience CIRI

2026 CIRI STELLAR SPACE EXPERIENCE

Featuring Higher Orbits Go For Launch! Program

July 28–30, 2026 • Colorado Springs, Colorado

High-school-age students are invited to join CIRI for the Stellar Space Experience—an exciting hands-on program that prepares participants for careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)! Participants will develop and strengthen their skills in STEM, teamwork, communication, research design and leadership. Working with a retired NASA astronaut and other space and STEM professionals, participants receive inspiration and encouragement as they work to solve challenges in teams. The program includes a competition to design a science experiment to fly to the International Space Station!

Students will be working in state-of-the-art facilities as they dive into the world of STEM and space exploration.
