2025 CIRI STELLAR SPACE EXPERIENCE
Featuring Higher Orbits Go For Launch! Program
July 25–27 • Anchorage & Kenai, Alaska
High-school students are invited to join CIRI for the Stellar Space Experience—a first-of-its-kind program that prepares participants for potential future careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)!
Participants will develop and strengthen their skills in STEM, teamwork, communication, research design and leadership. Working with NASA astronaut Don Thomas (retired) and other space and STEM professionals, participants receive inspiration and encouragement as they work to solve challenges in teams. The program includes a competition to design a science experiment to fly to the International Space Station!

Students will be working in state-of-the-art facilities as they dive into the world of STEM and space exploration. Humankind’s journey into space is a perfect opportunity to introduce STEM to youth to help them achieve their goals while strengthening other essential life skills. Don’t miss this unique opportunity!
The Stellar Space Experience is being held in conjunction with our partners, Challenger Learning Center of Alaska, Cook Inlet Tribal Council, International Space Station National Laboratory, and Higher Orbits Go For Launch!
