2024 NEXT GEN DAY: MONDAY, JANUARY 15

CIRI Shareholders and confirmed Descendants ages 10-17 are invited to join us for Next Gen Day! This popular youth event immerses attendees in culture while giving them a behind-the-scenes look at CIRI. Past activities have included Yup’ik drum-making, a CIRI scavenger hunt, speed-mentoring sessions, taste-testing traditional foods, mask-making and much more!
2024 Next Gen Day will be an in-person event at CIRI’s Fireweed Business Center in Anchorage with a virtual option available. Eligible Shareholders and Descendants are invited to apply, regardless of location! All attendees will receive a custom culture box.
- Who: CIRI Shareholders and confirmed Descendants ages 10-17. For information about Descendant registration, visit the CIRI website.
- When: Monday, Jan. 15, 2024. There will be two cohorts—morning, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (ages 10-13) and afternoon, 1-5 p.m. (ages 14-17). The afternoon session will include a career-mentoring component.
- Location: In-person at CIRI’s Fireweed Business Center, 725 East Fireweed Lane in Anchorage. There will also be a virtual attendance option.
