2026 Next Gen Day: Monday, Jan. 19

The application window for Next Gen Day is Dec. 12, 2025 – Jan. 11, 2026.

CIRI Shareholders and confirmed Descendants ages 10-13 are invited to join us for Next Gen Day! This popular youth event immerses attendees in culture while giving them a behind-the-scenes look at CIRI. Past activities have included making Yupik-style dance fans, CIRI Jenga, conversations with CIRI leadership, and much more!

2026 Next Gen Day will be an in-person event at CIRI’s Fireweed Business Center in Anchorage with a virtual option available at a later date. All attendees will receive a custom culture box!

  • Who: CIRI Shareholders and confirmed Descendants ages 10-13. For information about Descendant registration, visit the CIRI website.

  • When: Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, 9:30am – 4:00pm.

  • Location: In-person at CIRI’s Fireweed Business Center, 725 East Fireweed Lane in Anchorage. Details for virtual attendees TBD.
