CIRI’s Next Generation Day provides an inside look into CIRI and future opportunities available to our youth. Participants will learn about CIRI and CIRI’s family of companies, be exposed to future career paths and participate in Alaska Native cultural activities. It is our hope that Next Generation Day will heighten the aspirations of students, help them to make the connection between academic success and success in the world of work, and get them excited about the possibility of one day joining the CIRI team.
Interested young people—who must be a CIRI shareholder or descendant between 10 years old through high-school age—must complete an application. The parent or legal guardian of each minor must approve the minor’s participation and arrange for his or her transportation to CIRI’s corporate offices in Anchorage.
CIRI accepts applications for Next Generation Day year round. Each year the day will be held on the third Monday of January, with an application deadline of the first Friday in January for the current year’s program. More information and the application are available here. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 907-263-5562 with questions about the program or application process. Please encourage the young people in your life to apply!
Pop-Up Art Contest
In conjunction with 2019 Next Generation Day, CIRI is looking for a theme and corresponding original artwork from shareholders and registered, confirmed descendants ages 10 through high-school age.
