Cale V. Tolbert

Cale V. Tolbert serves as senior legal counsel for SoundHound AI, a global leader in voice and conversational intelligence. He previously served as a senior associate attorney for Allen Overy Shearman Sterling LLP and as an associate attorney for White & Case LLP. His professional background spans commercial fishing, engineering, law and corporate governance. Mr. Tolbert holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and an MBA from Northern Arizona University, as well as a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law.
Mr. Tolbert serves on the board of CITC Enterprises Inc., a for‑profit subsidiary of Cook Inlet Tribal Council. He has served on the CIRI Board of Directors since 2025.
